Now you might be wondering now, how is the law applied to the tires?
By pushing down on the piston, the volume of the gas decreases, the molecules are now having more chances of collisions with the interior walls of the pump and this increases the pressure of the air inside so that it is forced into the tire.

What does boyles law mean? what is it used for?
To simplify what says in the board, is when something is increasing the opposite will happen to the other substance
Its and experimental gas law that describes how the pressure of gas tends to increase as the volume of a container decreases
