Storyboard Text

  • Why? Explain your reasoning...
  • Janelle RenteriaTCI and UShistory
  • If you were to think about Andrew Jackson does not deserve to be on the $20 bill.......
  • After Election
  • Soils System:The practice of a successful political party giving public office to its supporters. This is a disadvantage for Jackson because some people don´t want to work for the white house. I think this makes him not worthy for being on the $20 bill because you shouldn´t pick random people from the streets to work for the white house.
  • Wow that is such great news!
  • Since I have been elected I am granting everyone a job to work in the Whitehorse.
  • Indian Removal Act: Signed into law on May 28, 1830, by United States President Andrew Jackson. The law authorized the president to negotiate with southern Native American tribes for their removal to federal territory west of the Mississippi River in exchange for white settlement of their ancestral lands. Jackson used this as an advantage becuase he wanted them to obey the federal laws. This does not prove his worthines to be on the $20 bill becuase he is making them move from their home land Which makes them have to give it all up
  • What? Why?
  • Sorry to bother but all of your people need to move west.
  • Jacksonian Democracy:Jacksonian democracy was a 19th-century political philosophy in the United States that expanded suffrage to most white men over the age of 21, and restructured a number of federal institutions. He used this an advantage because he would get everyone vote who likes him. I think that is a good thing because everyone should have the right to vote even if they don´t own land.
  • Hooray! Yay!
  • All men will be allowed to vote even if they don´t own land.
  • State´s Rights:The rights and powers held by individual US states rather than by the federal government. The nullification was to have tariff and North Carolina realized that it was unconstitutional. This shows another reason why he should´t be on $20 bill.
  • We are going to have to declare the Tariff Unconstitutional.
  • War on National Bank/Economic Decisions:The campaign begun by President Andrew Jackson in 1833 to destroy the Second Bank of the United States, after his reelection convinced him that his opposition to the bank had won national support. He took this as a advantage because he wants open a new national bank.
  • I have decided to take down the second bank in the US because we have won national support.
