  • Pi part 2 The adventures of Pi around a Circle By Erik V and Nate L In section 7-6, period 9-10
  • Thanks for teaching me about pi
  • No problem It was easy as PI. Ironic inst it
  • No problem It was easy as PI. Ironic inst it
  • Wait one more thing, How do you measure the distance around the pie, like the crust.
  • yeah!
  • You mean circumference?
  • What do you mean by   2πr?
  • Circumference the measurement of the distance around a circle, and it is similar to area but just with a different formula 2πr.
  • Cool what next? what is r in this equation?
  • The Pi in 2Pi*r is usually 3.14 in any other equation, but in this equation it would be 6.28.
  • It would be 3! Then If I multiply 6.28 by 3 i would get   18.84 for the circumference of the pie!
  • The r in 2pi*r is the radius of the circle, which can be found by halving the diameter. So, the radius of a circle with a diamiter of 6 is?
  • yeah ,thanks for teaching me about pie!
  • There you go. Wasn't that as easy as pie
