Castle Cranshaw is the protagonist of "Ghost". Castle doesn't live in the best neighborhood and gets bullied for it. At the beginning of the book, he really loves basketball, then later finds his love for track. Track has a special place in his heart because when castle was little, his dad tried to shoot him and his mom. The way he escaped from that is by running. That is part of the reason his nickname is Ghost.
Brandon Simmons is the antagonist for the story Ghost. He bullies Ghost on how much money he has, his clothes, where he lives, etc. He is kind of a bully to everyone, but mostly to Ghost. He likes to run track and play basketball.
An important symbol of the story "Ghost" are the track shoes Ghost stole. He called them the Silver Bullets. I think they represent greed and selfishness. I think that because he knew he could've just asked his mom to help him out, but he didn't. Instead he just ran off with them.
