  • These are the 6th-10th Amendments
  • The 6th Amendment states that any person that has been accused has a right to a public trial
  • The 7th Amendment states that in all but the most minor cases, people involved in a civil case have a right to a jury trial
  • The 8th Amendment forbids a judge from demanding "excessive" bail before a trial. It also forbids "excessive fines" and "cruel and unusual punishments" after the trial if they are found guilty.
  • The 9th Amendment states that even though “certain rights” are listed in the Constitution, other rights and liberties not listed in the constitution are also “retained by the people.”
  • The 10th Amendment states that any power that is not given to the National Government is given to the State or the people
