  • Attack!
  • This is the Battle of Queenston Heights. Near the town of Queenston.
  • Face the enemy men!
  • Yes, we must show them that we are strong.
  • We must fight for our land. The Americans must not invade all of our land.
  • Now that these papers are signed, we each have our own boundaries and land.
  • Yes, may there be everlasting peace between Canada and the United States
  • At Ghent, Belgium...
  • The War of 1812 started in 1812 and ended in 1815...
  • The War of 1812 identified British identity in Canada because the Canadians actually realised that they were not the same as Americans. After the Americans started burning down villages and buildings the people of Canada realised that they were different. This created British identity in Canada for evermore.
  • Ever since the end of the 1812 war, Canada and the U.S.A have been friendly to each other. Ever since the treaty ending the war was signed, Canada and America have kept the same amount of land for many more years to come.
