  • I remember the summer when I caught the biggest bass I have ever caught. I can't believe I let it go just for Sheila Mant.

  • The narrator is asking Sheila Mant out on a date.
  • I finally had the courage to talk to ,my crush, Sheila Mant. I asked her if she wanted to go see a band with me . 
  • If you want I can get my dads car.
  • The narrator is taking Sheila Mant in a canoe to see a band.
  • It's faster by canoe.
  • Fishing is so stupid.
  • The narrator finds out Sheila Doesn't like fishing. The narrator tries to hid the fishing rod from her
  • I can't believe Sheila. Fishing is not dumb. What made her think that? I have to hide the fishing rod. I can't let her see it.
  • The narrator is torn between the two things he loves the most. He decides to let the bass go.
