  • In the 1920s Babe Ruth was a baseball player who played for the New York Yankees. He was famous for his home runs and his power. Ruth was considered a hero to many for make baseball famous
  • Warren G. Harding
  • In 1927, Charles Lindberg made his famous 33 1/2 hour flight across the Atlantic Ocean to Paris, France. People thought that flying across the Atlantic would be impossible. As soon as Lindberg came back to the United States he became an American Hero for his accomplishment.
  • Calvin "Silent Cal" Coolidge
  • Louis Armstrong was an African American Jazz Artist. He was a big Jazz artist during that time and he would become a big musical influence on other artists. His first big hit was a song he recorded called Heebie Jeebies which was recorded in 1927
  • Warren G. Harding was the 29th President of the united States from 1921 to 1923. His campaign slogan was "Return to Normalcy". While in office his was involved in a bribery scandal the included a former U.S. Navy Oil Reserve in Wyoming that was secretly leased to private oil companies. After a trip to Alaska he returned to the states and fell ill in San Francisco where he died
  • Coolidge became the 30th president of the United States in 1923 after President Harding died. He also was Harding's vice President from 1921 to 1923. In 1925 he was reelected as President until 1929. He earned his nickname for his silence on certain topics.
