Storyboard Text

  • The Beginning Stage: Carolina and Benjamin have just gotten married. They are now deciding  whether to they should have children or no.  This is the beginning of the family life cycle.
  • The Childbearing Stage: Carolina and Benjamin have decided  to have kids.Carolina is pregnant with twins. Right now she is on maternity leave. This stage is the childbearing stage and it last until the first child to the last child they have.
  • The  Parenting Stage: Carolina and Benjamin have a  pair of twins, Marcus and Jackie. They are both in the 6th grade. This stage is the parenting stage, this is when the couple has school age children and care for them until they're  ready to leave.
  • The Launching Stage:  Marcus and Jackie are ready to become independent and go to to college. This is called the launching stage, which is when the couple's children are ready to establish their career goals.
  • The Mid-Years Stage: Marcus and Jackie have established their own families.Right now Carolina and Benjamin are going through an "Empty Nest" and now have to reestablish their priorities. This is the Mid-Years Stage where the parents are still  working but have changed many things in their lives
  • The Aging Stage: Carolina and Marcus have official gone to retirement.  They now have time for hobbies and to travel around the world. The aging stage is the final stage of the family life cycle.
