Blue sky enveloped my vision. The car vibrated gently as we drove on the highway. Suddenly a traffic light appeared blazing red which made us stop.
A girl caught my eye. Her skin was as pale as paper, and her hair blond like the sun. Her thin arms covered her side, as if she were in pain. I got out of the car saying "are you alright?" to the girl.
"Come." and a feeling of comfort overwhelmed me that I stepped out of the car, just wanting to be safe. Then all of a sudden darkness covered my vision like a blanket and everything went quiet.
My groggy eyes opened weakly and I saw a musty, broken place in front of me. What happened? Where am I? The girl I saw came into the room, a grin spread on her face. "You really are the one." She whispered in awe.
"What do you mean?" I struggled to keep my voice firm. "You are the chosen one to save me." She said full of hope. "Save you from what?" I asked, confused. "You can save me from darkness. You are the light in the world that can save me." Suddenly the little girl's face turned deadly. "You will do it now! Or die. Your choice."
My body shook and my heart pounded in my chest. I had to save her against my will or else I will never be free.
