  • Shall I hear more, or shall I speak this?
  • O Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo?
  • Scene 3
  • With Rosalie, my ghostly father? No. I have forgot that name and that name's woe.
  • That's my good son. But where hast thou been then
  • Scene 4
  • Nurse, commend me to thy lady and mistress. I protest unto thee-
  • Good heart, and i' faith I will tell her as much. Lord, Lord, she will be a joyful woman.
  • In this scene Romeo and Juliet express their love for one another. This adds tension to the story because their families despise each other. They agree to marry one another the next day. 
  • In Scene 3 Romeo has gone to find Frair Lawrence to ask to marry him and Juliet in secret. This adds tension to the rising action because they now are getting married in secret 
  • In this scene Romeo and his friends are insulting the Nurse. Benvolio and Mercutio leave. The Nurse starts too question Romeo as a good lover for Juliet
