  • He created a "table of chords" that was comprised into 12 books.
  • Aryabhata, an Indian mathematician, discovered the sine and cosine.
  • Because of all these people, we have the trigonometric ratios that we use today!
  • And Muhammad ibn Musa al-Khwarizimi discovered the tangent.
