Nat Turner had a big impact on history as a slave because his attempt to escape slavery was so memorable it was not easy to forget. Nat traveled from plantation to plantation for preaching to the other slaves which he benefited off of.
At every plantation Nat became more and more aware of the situation he and his fellow people were in and wanted to do something about it so instead of preaching to them he decided to set up his own group of volunteers to reform a new life for them.
Nat Turner won over a lot of the people he tried persuading making it past a couple of plantations but ultimately he wasn't successful but what he did will always live on past his life time and for many generations to come.
