It is a sunny day in July of 2017 and I am bouncy into work at Publix. I am a happy student, like a kid on Christmas morning, on break from the semester at Rasmussen.
Having a normal daily conversation with my best friend, Marcus, the most amazing man in the world, about school and he finds out that Rasmussen is not accredited as in as fake as Bigfoot and credits will not be recognized by familiar state colleges like they are legitimate.
As I went home to do some more follow up research and found out that Rasmussen is not the right selection for me. I threw a temper tantrum like the Kardashians. I then composed a nice email regarding my cancelation of classes and immediately put in an application
My fingers lit the keyboards of how fast I wrote the email. SPC has a nearby campus in Tarpon Springs only 20 min from me. My application was accepted all that lingers is whether my credits will be accepted. I now wait for my appointment with my advisor.
My advisor sadly told me that they can only accept the prereqs of all of the classes I took in the semester at Rasmussen. I am relieved that my classes would transfer over, I am on cloud 9!
Welcome fall semester students!
I have accumulated to my classes at SPC for the fall semester, was very excited about how cheap they are and I was as happy as a kid with cake when I finally knew I made the right decision.
If I had stayed the year at Rasmussen, becoming the most miserable person in the world, I would have gotten a degree in something I was no longer passionate about and now I am the happiest person ever!
