Linda has just moved up from P7 into Year 8. Linda was the best in her P7 class. She wanted to get into the year 8 team this year. She is on her way to the football pitch, and cant wait to get going.
Suddenly, a group of boys wearing the football kit approach Linda, laughing and pointing at her.
The boys start to call her names, and tell her to go away and that she can't be in the team. Linda felt scared and shocked at the fact she had been excluded because of her gender.
Linda was very upset, but she knew the boys who had bullied her needed to be taught a lesson. She walked to the headmaster's office and explained what had happened. The headmaster told Linda she would talk to the mean boys, which made her feel better.
Linda went to training the next day, and at the end of the session, the boys approached her again. Linda was terrified of them but was really surprised when...
when they congratulated her! They apologized for hurting her feelings and are now Linda's best friends! Linda is included in the football team and makes some lifelong friends. Linda is excited for her first game and feels great! The End.
