  • The time to act is now! We need to make our move.
  • No more Spain!
  • Napoleon invades Spain and says that he's in charge now. Naturally, this is a shock to the King of Spain.

  • While Spain and France are distracted with each other, the French colony, Saint-Domingue, or present day Haiti, is starting a slave rebellion.
  • Trust me, we're working on that.
  • Why don't you just KILL me already?
  • At the same time, Simon Bolivar is fighting and freeing Venezuela from Spain in South America.
  • Back in Haiti, Napoleon Bonaparte sends armies against Toussaint L'Overture, a self-educated former slave who took charge of the revolution. Toussaint's army wins, France wants a truce, and they capture Toussaint after the truce.
  • Slavery is abolished in Haiti by the end of it. Toussaint dies in a cell in France a year after his capture.
