It seemed like it would be a great day to keep exploring so I head towards the small groves of timber from the creek to see what new things I'd get to see.
Meriwether Lewis July 20, 1804
In my detour through the woods I stumbled across what seemed to be a feral wolf. I killed it before it could have the chance to strike.
As I continued I kept wary of any other threats lying around, I noticed that the soil of these prairies appear rich perfect for farming, but much of the land have been parched with frequent fires. I quickly assume it was an Indian way.
My last stop was near by the river, which seemed much more rapid than the Missouri. Indians traveled up and down here in their skin boats which were flat and unable to turn over.
As night approached, I helped set up camp for the night with Clark.
