Storyboard Text

  • Willy is acting with eccentricity. He is driving and keeps falling asleep at the wheel. He comes home acting oddly and tells his wife that he completely forget he was driving.
  • zzz...
  • While explaining to his wife about his incident while driving, he uses imagery to describe the road he was driving on. This scenery is what distracts him from the road.
  • what a beautiful scenery....ZZZ
  • calm down, you need your rest, you're 60.
  • As Willy start to become angry about his incidents and his sons, Linda (his wife) tries to comfort him. This exemplifies that she is considered a typical loving wife.
  • i have to be somewhere at 10am tomorrow! What are Biff and Happy going to do with their lives?!
  • Willy is trying to be calm, but he keeps comparing his son Biff to a bum. Since Willy is comparing Biff to a bum, this is considered a juxtaposition.
  • Biff and Happy (2nd son) are laying in bed, when they hear their father bad talking about Biff. Biff does not have a job which is why Willy is so upset with him.
  • Ugh,  why is he always mocking me?
  • Just go back to bed Biff, You know how dad gets.
  • I'm glad Willy, you needed that.
  • Willy has awaken from his sleep and feels like he has slept good. he says, "I slept like a dead one" (Miller 71). This is considered an oxymoron.
  • I haven't slept that good in so long, so refreshing.
