  • Setting:On a river a young boy who’s passion is fishing falls in love with a girl named Sheila Mant. So he decides to ask her out on a date to a music fest.
  • Climax
  • On the day of the date he decides they will go by canoe instead of a car. But in a split second decision the boy decides to bring his fishing rod.
  • Falling Action 
  • The boy cast his line and soon learns that Sheila hates fishing and thinks it is stupid. But it’s to late he soon finds out he has just hooked the biggest bass of his life.Should he cut the line or keep the bass?
  • Resolution
  • The narrator decides to cut the line.He instantly regrets his decision.
  • They soon arrive at the concert and the narrator dances with Sheila.Her true colors show soon and the narrator finds out she just wanted to go to see a boy she liked.
  • The narrator knows he made the wrong choice.He chose a girl over what he loved to do.The lesson he learned was don’t change you for someone else.s.
