- Yakov came to Charan and he saw a well. Next to the well were flocks of sheep. There were also a few shepherds.
- Hello, why are you waiting here? Why are you not working when it's still daytime?
- Do you know Lavan?
- We are waiting for the other shepherds so that together we can move the rock off of the well.
- Look, hear comes Rachel, Lavan's younger daughter.
- Hello, I am Yakov, the son of your father' sister.. I am running away from my brother Eisav and my mother told me to go to you.
- Come back to my father's house.
- Yakov rolled the stone off the well for Rochel.
- ...and that is the story.
- So Yakov came to Lavan's house.
- I want to marry Rochel, your younger daughter.
- Interesting. You can work for me as a shepherd.
- First you must work for me for seven years.
- There you go.
- Boy, he sure is a nice guy.
- So Yakov became a shepherd and worked for Lavan. He worked for 7 years so he could marry Rochel.
- But when Yakov got marred to Rachel. Lavan swapped Rachel with Leah! Rochel gave her sister the secret signs so Yakov wouldn't know it was her.
