Dolores Huerta and Cesar Chavez created the National Farm Worker's Association. Cesar Chavez was the main role of the NFWA while Dolores Huerta organized/ negotiator.

Members of the NFWA went on a strike to boycott grapes in hopes of raising awareness for the farmworkers that were not being treated fairly for their hard work.
With influence from the first grape strike, Dolores Huerta helped organize the second grape strike, and she brought awareness by leading rallies, marches, and boycotts. It was known throughout California because they were protesting the unfair treatment of agricultural workers.
The California Agricultural Labor Relations Act was signed in 1975 to allow farm workers to form unions where they could bargain for better wages/working conditions.
After years of hard work, Dolores Huerta was honored and put into the National Women's Hall of Fame. Cesar Chavez passed away in Yuma, Arizona and had a funeral with an estimation of 40,000 people attending.
