Storyboard Text

  • Welcome to Cellular Respiration High's Drama Club
  • We have to do the glycolysis play. It is in the wonderful cytoplasm!
  • They are deciding what to do for the fall play.
  • It's too boring. All it does is break down glucose into pyruvates and create the 2 ATP.
  • It only brags about the 2 Pyruvic acids it makes!
  • Fine then we are both leaving! And we'll leave you being ADP.
  • OK! Don't forget to release the NADH with the electrons.
  • We should do the Krebs Cycle! After all it is the first to take place in mitochondria.
  • Well it does release CO2... And releases NADH+ for the next step.
  • Or we can do the Electron Transport Chain!
  • No! We don't want to do that one. It creates most of the phosphate groups on ATP. BYE!
  • Well duh, it is where the ATP synthase takes place in making about 30-32 ATPs.
  • Well we're left having to explain how the oxygen from CO2 and the hydrogen dropped by NAD+ end up making WATER!
  • Well while we try to convince the others to choose ours, we hope you learned a little something about Cellular Respiration.
