  • Chapter 1
  • NOooOO, remember when Dill first came to visit us during the summer a few years ago.
  • It was the Ewells wasn't it.
  • Chapter 2
  • But...
  • Tell your dad to stop teaching you, its doing you harm because hes not a teacher.
  • Chapter 3
  • In the beginning of chapter 1, it starts off by the narrator and her brother Jem are arguing on how he broke his arm a few years ago.
  • Chapter 4
  • What are those!!!
  • In chapter 2, Scout starts first grade and was really excited about it, although shes really smart for a first grader the teacher doesnt like it. Miss Caroline said that if her dad was teaching her, he should stop because its "doing her harm".
  • Chapter 5
  • Lets give em the card so we can get ice cream
  • "First of all," he said, "if you can learn a simple trick, Scout, you'll get along a lot better with all kinds of folks. You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view […] until you climb into his skin and walk around in it."
  • Chapter 6
  • One day as Scout and Jem were walking to school, they saw pieces of gum sticking out of the Radley's front tree with a hole in it.
  • In chapter 5, Scout feels as if Dill and Jem are getting closer and shes being left out, although Dill proposes to Scout. One day Dill and And Jem aWere planning to leave Boo Radley a note so he can come out for ice cream
  • Atticus-" Leave Boo alone boys"
  • It was Dills last day in Maycomb so the kids decided to go to the Radleys yard and peek through it. As they were in the yard peeking they saw a shadow and they ran and heard a gunshot. As they were escaping Jem got his pants stuck under a fence
