Storyboard Text

  • The water cycle starts by evaporation, where the sun causes the water to turn into water vapor. The vapor form raises up into the clouds.
  • Transpiration is similar to  evaporation, but it is from the plants, not bodies of water.
  • Then the water vapor cools down and turns back into liquid, called condensation.
  • Then the water droplets fall from the clouds called precipitation.
  • As the rain pours, it forms a runoff. A runoff is water channels combining and forming into streams, rivers, and oceans.
  • The extra water that doesn't go into the runoff goes deep into the soil or plants called infiltration . The water seeps down and increases the level of ground water table which makes the water drinkable.
