The water cycle starts by evaporation, where the sun causes the water to turn into water vapor. The vapor form raises up into the clouds.
Transpiration is similar to evaporation, but it is from the plants, not bodies of water.
Then the water vapor cools down and turns back into liquid, called condensation.
Then the water droplets fall from the clouds called precipitation.
As the rain pours, it forms a runoff. A runoff is water channels combining and forming into streams, rivers, and oceans.
The extra water that doesn't go into the runoff goes deep into the soil or plants called infiltration . The water seeps down and increases the level of ground water table which makes the water drinkable.
