I am really worry, I think the students don´t care about the environment and our classes haven´t have the impact we want!
You have reason, but I have an idea, we can make an study about environmental projects!
But, which would be the objective of that study?
The main goal would be understand the contribution of such practical, hands-on projects exercises.
And what kind of strategies or tools could we use to achieve the goals?
There would be two, Sl and PBL, the last aims to use projects as a means to enhance independent learning in a realworld context, apply throught the learning based in problems.
And what means SL strategie?
SL is a form of experiential education, in which students engage in activities that address the needs of communities and receive opportunities designed to promote learning and development according with Mintz et al 2014.
And how could we determine how students learn through the use of participatory projects?
The framework would be meaningful learning, which occurs when learners understand what they have learned and can apply it in the future.
Perfect, let's do it! through this study we are going to contribute with the change of mind of our students about environment education.
Correct, let's apply it to the Technion-Isrrael Institute of Technology. The clunclutions of this study could be apply to other populations in other regions.
