  • The dutch settlers came across cape town. Their resolution grew into a big colony called the Cape Colony The British Government and when they did many people left their territories.
  • Stage 3: Revolution
  • The new constitution made it simply close to impossible for Africans to have an ability to have voting rights.
  • Stage 4: Recovery
  • AGREE!
  • A group called Pan Africanist Congress leaders told many blacks to show up on March 21 in 1960 at the police stations without their passes for them to get arrested or killed.

  • A police man shot children in their schools for protesting. 2 children were killed and many others were wounded. Atleast 575 poeple most black were killed.
  • Mandela met with de Klerk many times to talk about public change in South Africa. South Africa took a new constitution in 1996. Mandela was again the head of the Anc and in 1999 he retired as president. In south Africa the ANC won most of the elections in the national Assembly.
