  • Condensation
  • The birds huddle up together to keep warm in the freezing weather. 
  • Vaporization
  • It begins to get warmer as the snow melts, so the birds move away from each other to keep from getting too hot.
  • Sublimation
  • It begins to rain, which causes the temperature to decrease, so the birds come together again.
  • The temperature gradually increases, and as it gets hotter the birds become even more spread out and fly in different directions to cool off. 
  • In the middle of the night, a forest fire suddenly appears. The birds all fly in different directions, which causes the family to become separated.
