On Saturday the 14th of October in 1066 at 9:00 the normans and the English went to battle. the English were battle weary, as the had just won the battle against Norway.
the screams of the war cries sound, and the the two armies attacked. as the English died they could not fall as they were so tightly packed.
there was rumours spreading through the normans that their king, William the conquerer was dead. the left flank of the normans attack fled. the English followed in hot pursuit, but as they were running king William lifted his helmet and yelled "I am alive!" and the normans rallied and attacked English as the lines were broken.
as the normans attacked fiercely, one arrow flew through the air and to stuck in king Harolds eye.
