Due to Climate change the glaciers in the arctic are melting witch rises sea levels and in the past years it has raised 48-78 inches. This also leads to more storms and causes polar bears to lose their natural habitats. Also they wont have food because their natural prey won't be in their usual habitat and won’t be easily found.
Climate change affects our Animals: This is negatively affecting the polar bears because the ice is melting and affecting how the polar bears get out to where they need to hunt. Since 1981 to 2010 there has been a massive decrease of sea ice that we have lost in the Arctic. In the arctic we have 770,000 less square miles of ice then 1981 through to 2010. This change is affecting the polar bears. This is negatively affecting the polar bears because the ice is melting and affecting how the polar bears get out to where they need to hunt. The polar bear’s diet consist of mainly ringed and bearded seals. They also sometimes get to pick up some of the scraps of whale carcauses and not very likely they wil have some plants to eat.
Did you know If climate change continues to happen many states and countries temperatures will rise by more than 10 degrees fahrenheit every centuries? The magnitude of climate beyond the decades it depends on the amount of heat trapping gases. The earth is so sensitive to climate change and so are emissions and there will be alot more intense heat waves if this continues to happen.
