Storyboard Text

  • Exposition
  • Conflict
  • Rising Action
  • The story starts off with the children living on the planet Venus, where it rains constantly and the Sun only is out for 2 hours every 7 years. Margo has seen the sun, but the other children haven't.
  • Climax
  • Margot isn't like everyone else. She is different which is why she doesn't fit in, and doesn't feel at home, where she can be herself. The other kids don't like her which makes this a Man V. Man conflict.
  • Falling Action
  • While Margot was in class, she talked about how she remembered what the Sun was like and her classmates didn't believe her. They denied anything she had to say about the Sun.
  • Resolution
  • William and his friends locked Margot in the closet before the Sun came out. She remained there till the end of the story.
  • The Sun finally came out after 7 years of waiting, and the children all went out to play in the rays except Margot.
  • William and her friends realized that Margot was still locked in the closet and that she wouldn't be able to see the Sun for another 7 years. They felt really bad, and went back to the closet, and Margot slowly walked out.
