Although Victor resents his creature and is regrettably starting another one, his environment at the Orney Islands heals him while his is doing the task which he once enjoyed.
Victor takes Elizabeth to an inn in nature in order for him to try to calm down and heal his mind on their wedding night even though he knows the monster will come.
Victor took frequent walks through Geneva and the mountains their to clear his conscience.

Evil is the consequence of neglect and rejection

The Creature watches the DeLacey family after his first encounter and rejection with them, feeling dejected and filled with sorrow. He vows to not trust mankind again after this encounter which leads him to the evil and murderous lifestyle he soon begins.
The Creature first follows him after his creation because Victor immediately abandoned him in his home. This initial leaving is the source of all of Victor's problems.
