Zach is a forest ranger who works in an office. He yearns to be in the forest and feel like a ranger people see in movies and tv shows. He finally gets an opportunity to go help out with a wilderness event, but fails to read the details. Expecting to be out leading a group on a hike, he gets stuck in a mascot outfit handing out brochures. Disgruntled, he storms off into the woods and gets lost. He comes to the conclusion that he's not cut out to be a real forest ranger and gives up. His coworkers find him, rescue him, and shame him. From there on out, he lives out his career behind a desk, content and at peace with his cozy office setting.
Zach is a newly hired forest ranger whose main duties revolve around office work. Zach yearns to be in the forest though.
One day, Zach gets an email from a coworker asking for his help at a wilderness tour. He quickly agrees to go and doesn't even bother reading the fine print...
Zach, we need an extra helper for our "Ranger Day" wilderness hike this weekend. Care to help? -FINE PRINT-
Zach arrives at the meeting spot, excited to go hiking. His coworkers instruct him that his task for the day is to stand at the trailhead, in a costume, and hand out brochures.
Can't wait to go hiking fellas!
You didn't read the email, did you?
Screw this, I'm out of here.
Feeling humiliated, Zach ditches his costume and storms off into the woods to catch up to the hiking group.
Nice mask, nerd!
Despite bragging about being a forest ranger, Zach's technical skills are lacking, and he gets lost in the woods.
This doesn't look familiar...
Zach is found by his coworkers, who are grumpy and stressed that they had to spend all day looking for him.
I'm going to die out here.
This is my life now. And I'm okay with that.
Guys!! I found him!!!
Zach returns to his desk job with a new found appreciation for office work.
