  • Don't Argue With Teacher's
  • I do't have to listen to you old lady.
  • Hush young laddy this is a library.
  • Be Very Observant
  • Okay, those tables are taken but I can sit at this one.
  • Don't Be A Freshman
  • Stupid freshmen always getting in trouble.
  • Don’t argue with any of your teachers. High school is a lot different than middle school. In middle school you could stretch the boundaries a little more and argue a little with a teacher. That’s not so much the case in high school. There is no tolerance for it and many teachers will call you out and flat out embarrass you in front of the whole class.
  • Charge Your Chromebook
  • Be very observant. As a freshman you are suppose to be seen and not heard. Especially this is the case at the beginning of the year. When you walk into the lunchroom on the first day it is going to be overwhelming. Don’t just quickly go sit down at a table because you’re scared. That’s a good way for a senior to kick you out of your seat because you sat in the wrong place. Observe where the seniors are and don’t take their seat. But don’t worry, in a few years you will be the senior kicking freshman out of your seat.
  • Stay on A Teacher's Good Side
  • Don’t be a freshman. I know you can’t help the fact that you will be a freshman next year. What I mean is don’t be a stereotypical freshman. Like I said earlier freshman are suppose to be seen and not heard. Don’t come into high school thinking you’re at the top of it. That’s a good way to get hit by a senior or junior. Also you will be looked down on for the remainder of freshman year.
  • Keep Your Grades Up
  • Charge your chromebook. Some days you can get away without charging your chromebook every night but that doesn’t happen too often. To be on the safe side I would just charge it every night. For some reason, I don’t really know why but teachers get mad when they are dead. Also as much as you’ll want to punch it and throw it away don’t because you will get in trouble for that.
  • Always no matter what stay on every teacher’s good side. Teachers have previously joked about staying on their good side. This is not a joke anymore. A teacher’s good side is something that is very under rated. Being on a teacher’s bad side is not really an option. Life will be a lot easier if you start on that teacher’s good side because once you are on their bad side it’s really hard to get off it.
  • Hello Mrs. Allen. How's your day been?
  • Just wonderful. Thanks for asking.
  • Keep your grades up to a good level. High school is a lot harder than middle school in terms of curriculum and work. It’s a lot harder to get A’s and the teachers don’t baby you at all. If you are one that relies on a teacher to let you get your work in late for full credit you’re gonna want to change quickly. But if you keep your grades up by yourself you will have no problem. Doing your homework and not being on social media is a big help as well.
