  • 1824- John Adams and the Corrupt Bargain
  • I won and beat you in the election!
  • You cheated, I got the popular vote it should have been me!
  • 1828- Tariff of Abomination
  • This Tariff will protect all your goods
  • That's awesome!
  • 1828- Jackson 1st election
  • Hahaha! I am president now thanks to the help of all of my supporters
  • Andrew Jackson had won the popular vote and should have become president. John Quincy Adams had Henry Clay, he got him in to be president and cheated out Andrew Jackson.
  • 1828- South Carolina Nullification
  • It was passed to protect industry in the northern US. The south hated this Tariff but the north favored it
  • 1830- Worcester vs. Georgia
  • During Jackson's election he favored the common man. Since Jackson favored them he won the election easily.
  • 1836- Trail of Tears
  • A high protective Tariff was passed and it infuriated the southern states. They felt that it only benefitted the north.
