Storyboard Text

  • I took so many cool pictures today!! Can't wait to share it on social media.
  • Had a fun day today!
  • Notification from Instagram: Brad_Jacobs27 commented on your post
  • Hmm I wonder what he said, let me check it out.
  • WOW, why would he say such a mean thing... I will not let him get to me though
  • Brad_Jacobs27: You look stupid, nerd
  • Had a fun day today!
  • That will show him that he just can't comment whatever he wants and expect to get a reaction out of me
  • You have just blocked Brad_Jacobs27
  • While the insults that the bullies direct towards you may be hurtful, you can either ignore them or just simply block them. You should not let the bullies get to you and just be proactive on who you let follow you. Of course, this is all easier said than done, because in some cases the bully can be someone you consider a friend, and this is where the parents must step in. If a parent notices that their child is in distress they must monitor their activities on social media to prevent further harm.
  • It is important to remember that while cyberbullying is a real issue, you do not have to let yourself fall victim to it.
