  • Water molecules are absorbed by the roots and travel into the leaves.
  • Carbon Dioxide enters the plant through the Stomata.
  • Carbon Dioxide combines with hydrogen to create Glucose. Surrounding the stomata are two Guard Cells.
  • The Xylem transports water from roots to stems and leaves and also transports nutrients!
  • The Phloem are tissues that conduct foods made in the leaves to all other parts of the plant. All of these things occur during Photosynthesis!
