  • Professor Thaddeus Lowe was the one who invented the Hot air Balloon.
  • Good afternoon Mr. Lincoln, My name is Thaddeus Lowe.
  • Nice to meet you Mr.Lowe, I heard you invented the Hot air balloon and think that will help me on the Civil War.
  • This is when Mr.Lowe show the soldiers and President Lincoln the Hot air Balloon. ( Mr.Lowe is in the hot air Balloon) This was June 1861 in Washington D.C.
  • Mr. Lowe did a good Job
  • It help them by sending telegraphic messages to the War Department. It help to observe the battle of Fair Oaks. Also it help them see the location were soldiers were.
  • The things that surprise me are that Thaddeus Lowe designed especially though balloons for use with the army.
  • The hot air balloon help our nation because it could send telegraphs from the top to the war department.
  • The Hot air balloon was Hydrogen filled balloon enterprise could rise to a height of 500 feet.
