  • NO PHOBIA!! YES!!!
  • Firstly, the client must identify their feared object or situation. In this case, the fear a girl might have a phobia of snakes. They are then forced into a situation where they are exposed to the fear and cannot escape it.
  • After a while of the stressful situation of being exposed to her fear, the body naturally calms down. Your body will naturally relax because it can't sustain an anxious state for too long as it harms the body.
  • When she eventually calms down, she has successfully associated her fear with relaxation. She is no longer afraid of snakes.
