Storyboard Text

  • In a small town the White family and Sergeant- Major Morris were having a conversation when out of the blue the conversation diverted to the monkey's paw.
  • It had a spell put on it by an old fakir, a very holy man. He wanted to show that fate ruled people's lives and those that interfered with it did so to their sorrow. He put a spell on it that three separate men could make three separate wishes on it.
  • Sergeant Major- Morris gave the monkey's paw to Mr. White and told him to be careful on what he wishes for. Mr. White already had what he wanted, but Herbert suggested that if he cleared the house he would be quite happy. All they needed was two hundred pounds.
  • I wish for two hundred pounds!
  • The next morning...
  • No!
  • Your son was badly hurt today. Herbert was at caught in the machinery and he's gone .
  • WHY!!!!
  • In consideration of your son's services, Maw and Meggins wish to present you with a certain sum as compensation.
  • How much?
  • Two hundred pounds.
  • One night, Mrs. White rushed to Mr. White with a cry. She cried that he should use the monkey's paw to wish Herbert back. Mr. White didn't feel like it was the right thing to do and was hesitant.
  • I wish my son alive again!
  • Wish! Wish! Wish!
  • KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!
  • It's Herbert! It's Herbert! Herbert!
  • I wish the creature was gone!
  • KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!
