  • Tsar taxed the produce of the peasant farmers to pay them taxes and raise money to maintain his regime. The burden of taxation was so powerful that periodic riots broke out due to the upset peasants.
  • On this day, a group of workers who were sick and tired of Tsar and all his terrible rules decided to protest against him so they decided to march to his place peacefully. When they arrived, the guards were shocked and were not sure what to do, they started to freak out and shot 13 innocent people
