Angela's 14 year old friends talk her into going down for a swim in the river on a hot summers day. They have some beers and a casket of wine.
I'll just stay here and supervise
Angela and her friends proceed to swim whilst drinking which isn't very safe or legal as they are under age.
Maybe we should keep the drinks for after we go swimming
Some risks of drinking alcohol while swimming on a hot day are that they could drown. Get heat stroke from the hot sun. Or because they are under age they could get fined from $200 up to $2000
Some things you can do to prevent this is getting someone to supervise you whilst swimming in case people show risky behaviour or start acting up. This way if they do you can stop them.
You can, not drink while swimming and have a drink after you get out. Rest regularly in the shade and have some cool water to drink because it is so hot. This can help prevent heat stroke and drowning.
Something else you can do is have something to eat before drinking as it helps slows the effect of alcohol and you can rest under the shade while eating.
We should eat something to make the effect of the alcohol slower
