Hello! My name is Zoe and I am In 6th grade at Sedgwick middle school. I just started learning Chinese, and I already know I want to continue studying it. In Chinese we learn so much! So far we have learned about fruits, foods, greetings, names, numbers, and much more! In this video, I am going to tell you WHY people should learn Chinese.
Before we begin i would like to tell you a little about myself...
During my free time I love to play the viola! I have been playing the viola for 8 years.
I also love to read, when I'm not learning Chinese, of course!
Lastly, I love to go on a app called Doulingo and practice my Chinese outside of class!
Now, let's say later in life I decide to work in a hospital. Someone would more likely hire me if I speak Chinese rather than if I only spoke English. eight hundred forty million people in the world speak Mandarin. It Is very likely that I would run into one of those 840 million people. I would be able to communicate with many people, not just English speaking people.
