  • Doctor what is the diagnosis?
  • From looking at your medical history and a physical exam, I have determined... You have alopecia.
  • That explains my increased anxiety...
  • Symptoms of this are hair loss, anxiety, itching, and small dents of the nails.
  • Alopecia is the sudden loss of hair, typically in round patches. There are recommended treatment options, but none are mandatory.
  • Minoxidil should help with the regrowth of your hair. Do not swallow this medication. Side effects include burning, stinging, or redness of applied area.
  • Alright, thanks!
  • Apply 1 mL of 2% or 5% solution to the affected area and no more than 2 mL in a day.
