Currently, the warriors are sound asleep in the mead-hall. Until, the furious mother of Grendel seeks her revenge for her son's death by snatching up and killing Aeschere.
You are my victim!
I'm coming for you!
I got you now!! No way escaping now
Grendel's mom flees the mead-hall with Aeschere in her arms. Beowulf is not aware of what is happening nor at the scene when the dangerous monster leaves on foot with Aeschere.
After the devastating news of the loss of Aeschere, Hrothgar demands for Beowulf to hunt down and kill Grendel's mother. Hrothgar is relying on Beowulf for the second time now and will give him chests of gold if he agrees to the challenge.
Hrothgar- "Beowulf, you need to go eliminate this crazy monster!"
I'm on my way!
Look on the ground! I think I see Aeschere's head.
Beowulf agreed with Hrothgar to track down the enemy, Grendel's mom. He is ready to win the battle. At the cliff's edge, they see Aeschere's head lying on the ground.
Lets go, I am ready for war. Where is the beast?
Take this sword and may it not fail you!
Unferth bequeaths Beowulf with the sword that has never failed in any battle.
With this sword, I shall not lose.
