Storyboard Text

  • The President of the United States has multiple responsibilities from being Chief Legislator. This includes influencing congress, signing bills into law, abd veto or reject bills.
  • The day that I became president, I felt that all students shouldn't have to worry about paying for college. Congress will lower the tuition rate for students going into college.
  • Dear Congress, I believe that lowering the tuition for students going into college will help teach more students. This will let them learn more and be able to apply for more jobs. If a student is able to go to a certain college, they shouldn't have to go somewhere else since they can't afford to get in there.
  • Mr. President, the Senate and house of Representatives have sent you the following bill: If a student is unable to pay for the full tuition of their college choice, then they will be able to pay as much of the full tuition as possible.
  • I have decided to veto this bill, as it doesn't fully fill my vision for a smaller tuition fee.
  • As president, I want to make it easier for everyone to pay for the tuition. I will continue to veto this law unless it insures a lower tuition fee for all students applying for college, not just those who can't afford it.
