  • Down with the war!
  • Members of Duma:
  • BREAD!
  • Nicholas II
  • I have no power left!  My solders are not doing what I asked! What do I do now?
  • YES!!
  • From now on, Russia will be ruled by a provisional government
  • It is February 1917, Russians and members of the Duma are rioting against Czar Nicholas II.  
  • YEAH!!
  • Bolsheviks
  • The Russian people would not accept a Socialist government!
  • Nicholas II was forced to abdicate.
  • Russia will stay in the war!
  • Alexander Kerensky
  • The Russian people deserve basic civil liberties!
  • The leaders of the Duma formed a new government called provisional government.
  • WE WANT OUT OF THE WAR!
  • Many Bolsheviks believed that the Russian people would not accept a Socialist government. They supported the provisional government.
  • Alexander Kerensky became the leader of the provisional government and later became the president of Russia.
  • Kerensky did not get Russia out of WWI as the majority of people hoped he would.
