  • Scene 1, A Desert Placev
  • Fair is foul, and foul is fair:Hover through the fog and filthy air.
  • Scene 3,  A heat near Forres 
  • Speak, if you can: what are you?
  • All hail, Macbeth, thou shalt be king hereafter!
  • All hail, Macbeth! hail to thee, thane of Glamis!
  • All hail, Macbeth, hail to thee, thane of Cawdor!
  • Scene 4, Forres the palace 
  • My worthy Cawdor!
  • The rest is labour, which is not used for you:I'll be myself the harbinger and make joyfulThe hearing of my wife with your approach;So humbly take my leave.
  • Only look up clear;To alter favour ever is to fear: Leave all the rest to me.
  • This is an important part of the play because this phrase refers to Macbeth later on in the play referring to his future. The witches use this saying to trap Macbeth by predicting his future. 
  • Scene 5, Inverse Macbeth's castle 
  • This scene is important because this is the scene is where the witches tell Macbeth about his future,and how he will become king.
  • Scene 6, Before Macbeth castle

  • In Scene 5, It shows us how lady Macbeth is manipulating Macbeth to kill Duncan so that Macbeth can become king, and this scene shows us the character Lady Macbeth is

  • After lady Macbeth talks to Macbeth about the plan to kill Duncan, She runs into Duncan and is welcoming and friendly to Duncan, He has no idea of the plan Lady Macbeth and Macbeth have for him
  • This scene is important because this is where Macbeth and lady Macbeth go over the plan to kill Duncan
