  • Responsibilities include, Approves and rejects presidential appointments, Declares war, impeach president, and crafts bills
  • Judicial Legislative branch can check judicial by impeaching a supreme court justice if they dont follow a law or they can overrule a jurisdiction.
  • Legislative Branch
  • Excutive Legislative can check by impeaching or convicting the president of disobying laws. Legislative also has to aprove appointments for executive and revers a veto by the president.
  • Judicial Executive can appoint judges to the court.
  • Executive Branch
  • Executive branch has powers like being chief of the armed forces and appointing cabinet. They also have to prepare the annual budget and write laws.
  • Executive has power over legislative beacuse it can call congress to discuss issues and approves the bill.
  • Legislative Judicial checks legislative by bringing them to court if theyare uncontitutional, but only if a case is brought to them.
  • Has the power to interpret laws. Courts can judge execuive acts to be uncostitutional. Once a judge is appointed, he is a judge for life unless he retires or does something unconstitutional.
  • Judicial Branch
  • Judicial checks over executive by judging a unconstitutional act a member might do by interpreting constitution.
