Storyboard Text

  • Beginnings
  • The chase
  • The capture
  • Here the tribes in Africa live peacefully and minding to themselves. They are asleep, but they are in for a rude awakening. Meanwhile the new colonies are moving in to gather some slaves for work.
  • The departure
  • While the tribes ran the slavers gave chase wanting to score big for money so they could take a load off from all their "hard" work. This would also help the Economy since they won't have to pay workers
  • The trip
  • When they finally caught up they put the poor slaves in cages, but they are human not animals. Not that it matters since they are being shipped far away. Using the middle passage
  • The arrival
  • They now leave with their caught slaves and prepare to go all the way away to sell them quickly. Time is money
  • Beneath the decks the slaves are packed like sardines. They bump into each other and don't get anything good. They can't tell where they are or where they are going
  • Here they arrive at the port. They are shipped off and sold while the slavers just do more terrible things. This will go on for some time unfortunately
