I didn't stealKenzo's gift! What are you talking about?
Mika stole Kenzo's gift!
December 12, 2017. It was a snowy day in Southhill Elementary School. Christmas was getting closer and closer so the school decided to host a Christmas party for every class before the winter break! The students gathered inside the school’s locker room while waiting for the bell. Everyone in grade 3 was there except for Mika and her friends.
Ella kept onblaming me! She told lies to everyone. She said that I stole her present to Kenzo but I did not do that!
What's the problem?
Inside the locker room, students were talking amongst each other when suddenly, Mika and her friends entered the room. The three girls assumed they were all talking about Ella, the most popular girl in their grade. After a few minutes, the bell rang. All grade levels quickly walked to their rooms.
Now, Ella, what are you going to say to Mika?
I'm sorry, Mika. I won't do it again.
It's ok, Ella! I forgive you but why did you get Kenzo's gift? It was your gift, right?
Mika arrived with her friends and mingled. Half way through the party, Ella started to make a fuss “Mika stole Kenzo’s gift!" Mika was shocked. " I didn't steal Kenzo’s gift! What are you talking about?” The two girls started to argue with each other. The teacher-in-charge noticed this and broke the two girls up. The teacher sent both of them to Mrs. Thompson, the Guidance Counselor. They walked together to the Counselor.
Oh? I was going to give you a gift but I was too afraid to approach you. If you'd like, we could become closer!
When the two girls arrived, they were met with the calm face of Mrs. Thompson. "What’s the problem?” “Ella kept on blaming me! She told lies to everyone. She said that I stole her present to Kenzo but I did not do that!” The blonde counselor nodded and waited for Ella to talk. Ella was afraid of Mrs. Thompson so she was forced to tell the truth. “I did blame Mika. I told everyone that she stole the present of Kenzo but truth is, I stole it.”
I did blame Mika. I told everyone that she stole the present of Kenzo but the truth is, I stole it.
Mrs. Thompson smiled. She was happy that Ella had been honest with her. “Now, Ella, what are you going to say to Mika?” “I’m sorry, Mika. I won’t do it again.” Ella said with sincerity. “It’s ok, Ella! I forgive you but why did you get Kenzo’s gift? It was your gift, right?” Ella shifted uncomfortably on her seat. “It’s because no one gave me a gift today.”
It's because no one gave me a gift today.
“Oh? I was going to give you a gift but I was too afraid to approach you. If you’d like, we could become closer!” Mika said with a smile as wide as the Cheshire cat’s. “You’d do that?” questioned Ella. Mika nodded meekly. “Then let’s be friends!” And so they became closer and closer as friends along with Mika's other friends. It was truly a Christmas Party to remember. The end.
